Your charity must be a qualifying charitable organization. See 'Important Guidelines' below. Typically, all donations are distributed by April of next year, and you’ll receive an email confirmation when it’s complete.

If you previously recommended an eligible charity, you'll see that information below. If you see your charity listed and want to keep it, no action is needed. If no charity appears, please search for one and click Submit. You can update your selection at any time through the end of the calendar year.
Important Guidelines
To qualify, a recipient must be a tax-exempt organization under the U.S. Internal Revenue Code (the "Code") which is eligible to receive a grant from the Foundation under relevant private foundation tax rules. In addition, the recipient must not be listed as a prohibited group by the Southern Poverty Law Center or the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). The Foundation may impose additional limitations on eligibility in its discretion for compliance and/or administration purposes.
Organizations that actively engage in, promote, or support intolerance, discrimination, hate, terrorism, violence, money laundering, or other illegal activities, do not qualify for this program. Although we aim to support charities that are in good standing and do not engage in any of the activities described above, we cannot guarantee the good standing or conduct of any charitable organization.
If you or an immediate family member have a financial interest in, or hold a leadership or oversight role with, the charity you're requesting a donation to, you must let Progressive's Administrator know by emailing PGR_Foundation@progressive.com. Leadership or oversight roles include positions like being on the charity's board or management team or working as clergy in a religious organization. A financial interest includes situations where you or your family members benefit financially from the organization's activities (such as receiving a scholarship or other funding from the organization) or are paid a salary or other compensation by the organization.
